The Medicine Lodge Community Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to maintaining and improving the health of the citizens of Medicine Lodge and the surrounding area and to establish a means that will guarantee high-quality healthcare now and in the future.
A board of directors manages the foundation. Members of the board are selected from the service area of the Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital & Physicians Clinic. Current members of the foundation board are: Betty Buell, Dale Lonker, Sara Whelan, George Palmer, Sue Lee, Pam Packard and Lisa Withrow
Donations made to the foundation support projects to improve the quality of health for the residents of the Medicine Lodge area. Gifts may be tax-deductible, depending upon your individual tax situation.

The Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital Wound Care Center is a specialized outpatient wound center dedicated to the care of patients with wounds.
Wounds that are non-healing may be a result of pressure, trauma or infection. Sometimes, the simplest of wounds can turn into a significant problem due to underlying conditions, such as diabetes, circulation problems or previous radiation treatment.
Includes the 24-Hour Emergency Room, Acute, Skilled, & Intermediate Care, General Surgery, Endoscopy Services, Pain Management, and Rehabilitation (Physical, Occupational, and Speech Language Pathology Therapy).

Full Lab & Diagnostics, and Imaging (Radiology, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Echo, EKG).

Yes, appointments are highly recommended for all non-emergency clinic services. You can schedule by calling the clinic directly or using our online patient portal. We highly recommend scheduling to ensure you see the appropriate provider and to minimize your wait time.
Appointments are preferred and receive priority in our clinic. While we accept a limited number of walk-in patients for urgent, minor issues, wait times can vary significantly. If you have an emergency, please go directly to the 24-Hour Emergency Room.

To ensure coverage for your specific service and understand your financial responsibility (co-pays, deductibles), please contact our billing office or your insurance provider directly before your visit.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency (e.g., severe bleeding, chest pain, difficulty breathing), immediately call 911 or proceed directly to our 24-Hour Emergency Room. Our Emergency Department is staffed around the clock to provide critical care.
The most efficient way to obtain a prescription refill is to contact your preferred pharmacy directly. Your pharmacy will send an electronic request to our providers for review. Please allow up to 48 business hours for the request to be processed. Refills may not be granted if you are overdue for a required follow-up visit.
