In order for your child to grow healthy and strong, the providers at Medicine Lodge Physicians Clinic encourage parents to bring their children to the clinic for regular well-child visits. We follow the standards of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians to begin visits 2 to 5 days after birth and then at regular intervals. Your provider can give you details recommended for your child.

Well-child visits allow your provider to monitor your child’s growth and development as well as overall health. During a well-child visit, your child will receive a full physical exam complete with any recommended screenings for common health issues or developmental problems. Your provider will give you important information about normal developmental stages, safety concerns, nutrition, and other health information related to your child’s age. These visits can help your provider spot potential problems and treat them early.
