These are specialized injections that block pain in a specific area of your body. We use a long-acting steroid that begins working within two to five days and provides pain relief that lasts from several days to a few months.

We believe strongly in patient education and we integrate this service into every treatment and care visit.

Preventive care is beneficial at any age but especially in the early years of life. In order for your child to grow healthy and strong, the providers at Medicine Lodge Physicians Clinic encourage parents to bring their children to the clinic for regular well-child visits. We follow the standards of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians to begin visits 2 to 5 days after birth and then at regular intervals. Your provider can give you details recommended for your child.

Well-child visits allow your provider to monitor your child’s growth and development as well as overall health. During a well-child visit, your child will receive a full physical exam complete with any recommended screenings for common health issues or developmental problems. Your provider will give you important information about normal developmental stages, safety concerns, nutrition, and other health information related to your child’s age. These visits can help your provider spot potential problems and treat them early.

We all have questions about our child’s health that often go unanswered. The well-child visit is the perfect time to ask these questions you have. You know your child best and can help your provider understand your child and family better.

Regular visits are covered by most private and state insurances. Consider making an appointment with the Barber Co. Community Health Department for your child’s immunizations the same day.

We are committed to providing your child with the best possible healthcare.

DOT Physicals

Many professional drivers are required to have physicals on a regular basis. Our certified practitioner makes it easy for commercial drivers to fulfill Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements.

School Sports Physicals

In the sports medicine field, a sports physical exam is known as a preparticipation physical examination (PPE). The exam helps determine whether it's safe for you to participate in a certain sport. Most states actually require that kids and teens have a sports physical before they can start a new sport or begin a new competitive season. But even if a sports physical isn't required, doctors still highly recommend having one. As past of our commitment to the youth in our community, we proudly offer FREE sports physicals on three different dates during the summer months.

 Comprehensive Physicals & Testing

Comprehensive medical examinations at Medicine Lodge Physicians Clinic will provide a thorough, extended medical examination with the focus on your overall health. Throughout the evaluation, the professional staff will work with you to create a health improvement plan that promotes wellness and prevention rather than illness and treatment.
