The MLMH&PC Physical Therapy Department provides services to the community with outpatient, inpatient and skilled care.
The MLMH&PC Physical Therapy Department offers treatments for a wide variety of conditions, including muscle strains, joint sprains, postoperative joint surgeries, neurologic disorders, muscle weakness and mobility deficits.
Our department is equipped with numerous modalities to improve health including electrical stimulation, paraffin, dry needling, ultrasound and the new Triton DTS® spinal traction unit. We also offer the Physical Capacity Profile for employers in the area. This testing provides information for employers to match employees to the physical demands of a job, creating a cost-effective, efficient workforce.
Our experienced staff has specialized training in exercise and hands-on therapy to improve movement and function as well as relieve pain. Patients should expect a thorough evaluation to determine individualized treatment plans.

Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) are a group of tests that measure how well your lungs work. This includes how well you’re able to breathe and how effectively your lungs are able to bring oxygen to the rest of your body.
Your doctor may order these tests:
- if you’re having symptoms of lung problems
- as part of a routine physical
- to monitor how effective your treatment is if you have a lung disease, such as asthma
- to assess how well your lungs are working before you have surgery
We offer this service at Medicine Lodge Physicians Clinic by appointment Monday through Friday.
